Disabled cargo ship towed to safety Greece

General cargo ship MICHALIS suffered mechanical failure and was disabled at around 2340 UTC Sep 9 some 9 nm south of Syros island, Greece, Aegean sea, while en route from Lavrion to Limassol with cargo of stone. According to reports and track, the ship was taken on tow in the morning Sep 10, and towed to eastern coast of Syros, to safe waters. Understood she’s anchored.
