Considering present congestion in the ports of Tokyo and Osaka, Japan, French shipping group CMA CGM is introducing a Port Congestion Surcharge of JPY 1,000 per TEU and JPY 2,000 per FEU for shipments from worldwide origins to Tokyo and Osaka, effective May 1, 2019.
