Shenzhen sees export growth in H1

The export of south China’s technological powerhouse Shenzhen reached 757.14 billion yuan (110.07 billion U.S. dollars) in the first half of 2019 (H1), up 5.1 percent year on year, according to local customs.

The city’s trade volume with Belt and Road (B&R) countries reached 284.14 billion yuan in H1, up 5.7 percent year on year.

Private enterprises in the city contributed 775.42 billion yuan of export and import in H1, accounting for 58 percent of the total in the city.

Exports from Abu Dhabi ports up by 14.8%

The value of exports through Abu Dhabi ports grew 14.8% from AED 24.0 billion in the first quarter of 2018 to AED 27.6 billion in the same period of 2019, according to official figures released by Statistic Centre – Abu Dhabi, SCAD.

Port of Oakland exports increase by 4.2% in June

The containerized export volume in the port of Oakland rose by 4.2% in June 2019, in comparison to June 2018. The port reported that it managed the equivalent of 74,901 20-foot loaded export containers last month, compared to 71,894 in June 2018.

Forecast for Turkey’s exports and imports in Q3

Turkey’s Ministry of Trade announced on July 8 the survey results of foreign trade expectations for the third quarter of this year.

Iran’s exports through Khorramshahr Port up 56%

Iran exported over 571,462 tons of non-oil commodities through Khorramshahr Port, Khuzestan province, in the first three months of the current fiscal (March 21- June 21), indicating a 56% growth in comparison with the similar period of last year, a senior official said on Sunday, July 7.

According to Noorollah Asadi, the director of Khorramshahr Ports and Maritime Directorate, the port’s total loading and unloading of goods stood at 607,740 tons in the first quarter, up 40% year-on-year.
