Court Bid to Stop South African Live Export Fails

The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) has had its high court application to stop a shipment of sheep to Kuwait struck off the roll with costs, due to procedural issues. 

The NSPCA launched the application in the Grahamstown High Court, South Africa, after it found out that 70,000 sheep were being readied to be shipped out by Kuwaiti company Al Mawashi.

A consortium of Gasunie, Groningen Seaports and Shell Nederland have announced their intention to launch the NortH2 project: Europe's largest green hydrogen project using renewable electricity generated by a mega offshore wind farm.

Big increase in non-container shipments through Saudi Red Sea port

NMDC to take delivery of new dredger

Dutch shipyard Royal IHC has launched the new trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD), Ghasha, for Abu Dhabi’s National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC). The design of the new vessel is based on that of the 6,000m3 Ariana, which was also delivered to NMDC by IHC in 2018.
