Tanker disabled in Western Scheldt, assisted by tugs

Tanker AZURITE suffered engine failure and was disabled while sailing downstream in Western Scheldt, in front of Terneuzen, Netherlands, in the afternoon Dec 12. Tanker loaded with oil products was in danger of running aground. Timely assistance from 5 tugs prevented serious accident, tanker was anchored off Terneuzen, resumed voyage after fixing problem. She left Antwerp in the morning Dec 12, port of destination not identified.
