Lessons Learned: Always be prepared for an emergency

UK MAIB, in its latest Safety Digest accident report, focuses on a vessel sinking as the engine room was full of water and the crew wasn’t able to manage the flood. The report notes that seafarers should cope with a flood incident as serious as they cope with a fire incident.
