Adani steps up Mundra port investment

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) has announced plans to further expand capacity at Mundra port in the Indian state of Gujarat. Mundra is one of the largest commercial ports in India with an annual cargo handling capacity of approximately 225 million tonnes a year. As part of its long plans the company has applied for environment and coastal regulation zone (CRZ) clearances to raise the capacity of Mundra port by another 385 million tonnes a year, over a period of time.
