India’s LNG imports increase in December

India’s imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) experienced an increase in December. This month’s grow, reflects the first increase following a decrease for two straight months, according to data from oil ministry’s Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC).

Specifically, India imported 2.17 billion cubic metres of LNG, meaning approximately 1.55 million tonnes on December, highlighting a rise of 4.7% year-on-year.
